Having a spiritual community to travel and practice together is an important aspect of being both a vandweller and a Buddhist. Living on the road can have its challenges and being a Buddhist, trying to maintain a meditation practice can too.

Having a spiritual community to travel and practice together is an important aspect of being both a nomad and a Buddhist. Living on the road can have its challenges and being a Buddhist, trying to maintain a meditation practice can too.
LIBERATION & ENLIGHTENMENT
Buddhist Boondockers live and travel to free or low cost places to temporarily park, sleep and live in nature while developing a strong community to support each other's mindfulness and meditation practice.
As a sangha, we inspire one another to follow the path to liberation and enlightenment. Whether just beginning to explore meditation or been practicing for years, all are welcome to join.

CARIKA
Carika in Pali means to travel. After Siddhartha attained his enlightenment almost 2600 years ago he spent the next 45 years of his life traveling to help individuals find peace and happiness through the Dharma.
